Aldi Watercolour Brush Ink Markers and Paint Set

Hello Fellow Alchemists,

Today I am sharing with you the Aldi Watercolour Paint Set and Brush Ink markers. They were quite affordable as most Aldi art products are and worked surprisingly well. I used the Jumbo Amaryllis and Jumbo Peony to paint with the paint set and brush markers respectively. These gorgeous large flowers look absolutely wonderful watercoloured and who doesn’t love a rainbow? Behind the Amaryllis is some Nuvo gold glimmer paste and the stamp is from Lawn Fawn’s Mom + Me. Behind the peony is Inka Gold through a brick stencil.

This time I wanted to see how a proper rainbow would go with the brush markers. It turned out great and over the top I added the Hedgehog Hollows To The Moon and Back stamp with Nuvo black embossing powder. The stencils used are Tile Pattern from Kaisercraft and a Brick pattern from MFT.

Reject Shops Full Bloom and 10/9 Planner Page

Hello fellow Alchemists,

I may have been shopping again… The Reject Shop has a nice tropical themed new paper craft range called Full Bloom and I happened to snag a set. What’s a girl to do but to put it straight to good use? This one was a bit out of my comfort zone with bright colours and a colour I wouldn’t normally use.

The new Full Bloom paper kit has stickers, stamps with a really cute Sloth, journaling cards, diecuts and of the paper pad. I went with the Cockatoos this time instead of the Sloth, maybe next time! The Reject Shop ranges are great value, you get so much for a fraction of the cost of designer brands.

I enjoy having a full range of products because it makes pulling together cards and layouts quick and easy. The only thing I possibly need to add  is a stamped sentiment if there isn’t one I want to use in the set or washi tape. The Full Bloom kit is a nice vibrant collection. Hedgehog Hollow March 2018 LDRS Pop Up Box

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Sorry for the late post. Between my daughters science assignment, feeling fluey and computer issues I am really behind the eight ball today lol. Hope everyone else is well! Todays video features products from The Hedgehog Hollow March 2018 LDRS box (Little Darlings Rubber Stamps). You can see a project I made with the February box here.

What I thought was going to be an easy card to make turned out to be a pain in my butt haha. I had a few errors along the way, had to edit a couple out as time was getting away from me lol. There are still a couple in there though! Mostly I just kept adding tape to the wrong places lol.

The middle bars looked a little plain to me so I decided to add the straight Lawn Fawn Meadow Border to them. It was a little higher than I’d have liked but the grass added an extra element that I really liked especially as I always feel like I need to fill everything up!  Winnie, the doggy and some accessories from the stamp set Furry Fabulous out of the Hedgehog Hollow March 2018 LDRS box as well as the Flowers from the February boxes Some Bunny Lawn Fawn set were stamped with Memento ink. If you watched the video you will see why I did not use the LDRS Hybrid Ink. I used the co-ordinating dies for Furry Fabulous and Some bunny to cut my coloured pieces out.

The Copic and Promarker colours I used are:

Doggy – YR20, YR23 and Promarker O538 (Apricot) Nose – R00, R01, R02 Dog Tag – Y28.

Winnie – Skin – E000, E00, E01 Dress and Bow – BG10, BG11, BG13 Hair – V91, V93, V95.

For the flowers I used the colours above as well as – RV55, RV52, Promarker G159 (Lime Zest), YG03 and YG06

Bone – C00, C0
