Kaisercraft Haul With Rose Ave, Fairy Garden & Pen & Ink

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Today I am sharing with you a haul from Kaisercraft. There are planners, paper packs and lots of wood flourishes. There was one thing missing from my order and Kaisercraft has since sent it out to me. I may now own two seeing as I ordered one in my next order thinking they would just refund it haha…

I bought so much stuff! 50% off sales are dangerous! I got the large and small Seafoam planners. I am really not happy with these as the glossy paper branding strip sticks to them and leaves a mess! When I contacted them nothing was done… They just said we will pass the info along. UGH. A full review will be coming soon most likely on a new planner channel so keep your eye out. The small Lucky planner I bought as it was the only one I could see being used by a man.

I also bought some extras like the sticky notes and Belle sticker book.Β  I often use sticky notes for extra tasks and preplanning. The wooden shapes are really cute and I could not resist getting them. They match a lot of stuff I already own.

I got three paper packs,Β Rose Avenue a very pretty floral stack. Fairy Garden which I have wanted for the longest time. They don’t sell the ephemera or 6″ pads online unfortunately. Lastly I got Pen & Ink but it was a toss up between that and the Curiosity stack lol. They are both really nice vintage stacks. Don’t be surprised if Curiosity appears in the future!

What was your favourite thing I bought? I adore the paper stacks, they are just so beautiful. Hope you are creating some arty crafty alchemy yourselves. See you next time.

May Reject Shop Haul and Flip Through of their Newest Collection

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Today I am going to keep this post short and sweet and show you a new swoon worthy collection from The Reject Shop called Stillwater. If you love water coloury paper pads these are for you! On a side note this is not today’s scheduled video. My computer keeps eating it!

As you probably know by now I am addicted to The Reject Shop of late, so much prettiness for paper crafters abounds there! The Stillwater stack and ephemera pack is so close second to my favourite which was the Fanciful collection which you can see here.

We all have to get the mundane supplies as well but I am happy I found these envelopes for the competition that is coming up. I am just struggling to find an idea that won’t cost people a tonne of money! Hopefully in the near future! Hope you liked my haul, comment below what your favourite item is or what you would make with one of the items.

Hope you are creating some of your own Arty Crafty Alchemy. Thank you for stopping by.

Disney Paper Haul, Frozen, Pooh, Mickey and Minnie

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Today I am sharing with you some paper pads I was shown on eBay. The seller is so nice that they even send an extra present in your package :D. Three of the pads a gold foil and the last one has embossed designs in colour.

Aren’t they adorable! They are just too cute. They are made of some nice heavy duty paper so will make great laying pieces too. I know these stacks are readily available in Europe and the UK. Poundland in the UK are selling them! They are not easy to get here so I had to buy mine from the Netherlands.

The free stickers have several layers. Keep your eyes peeled, there may be some more arriving soon πŸ˜‰ Let me know what you would make with these pads in the comments below.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you are creating some arty crafty alchemy yourselves! Bye for now.

Harvey Norman Haul March 2018

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Today I am sharing with you my Harvey Norman Haul. I only went in there because my daughter was looking for something for her tablet and it was cooler in the store with the air con than in the car lol. That decision cost me oops.

As you can see I got a bunch of stickers and die cuts. They range from really small to medium/large and some even have dimension. I really like the wedding ones, the pastel colours are cute! I bought lot’s so I could share some in a future giveaway. 100 subs hint hint. Almost halfway there πŸ™‚

Honestly, I don’t get the random moustache thing! Why is it all over everything! The baby stuff having moustaches really has me puzzled. Is that just me? Do you think random moustaches on things is crazy too? I was so hoping that fad had passed by now…

Hope you are doing some arty crafty alchemy. Thanks for stopping by.

Kmart and Reject Shop Haul March 2018

Hello fellow Alchemists,

As you can see by the title I went shopping again lol. It’s an addiction, but when you find bargains like these, what can you do? “Buy them!” By now you may have realised I like shopping haha. On a side note I did purchase these before my last shopping haul video. Due to that haul being Easter themed I decided to show it first.

What can I say about Kmart? While most of the time their prices are great a lot of their craft items can be overpriced for what you get. I miss the days when they had a larger selection of more interesting things. They do still have packs of 25 cards bases with envelopes for $3. This is what I use for most of my card bases. I’ve been managing to get to Kmart a little more frequently than I normally would so got to snag a few bargains πŸ™‚

The envelopes for 50c were a steal! Especially seeing as they were star dream paper and there is 10 in a packet. They can be used as envelopes, cut them up for matting, use them in mini albums or die cut them, they were so cheap and I can use them for many things. The paper bags are awesome, have always wanted to make a paper bag album so that’s definitely on the cards now!

I actually walked out of the reject shop today, well yesterday when this comes out, without buying anything! They have no new stuff yet and I am good with that lol. I did go to the art shop but that’s another story … Apart from the other stuff I got I am super happy I found the Glasshouse papers to go with the other things I have from that range. I got them before I started this channel so when I go to use them I will do a quick share. The glossies I got in this video do match the Glasshouse range.

I am very excited for an arty crafty hack or two I have coming up. Hope you’re creating your own arty crafty alchemy. See you next time πŸ™‚

Huge Haul, Carloline’s Gifts!

Welcome fellow alchemists,

Today I am sharing a huge haul from a lady in a craft group I just recently started going to. Huge may be an understatement lol. The first time I met this lady was only two weeks before she gave me all these pretty things! Feeling very blessed πŸ™‚ Thank you so much Caroline!

From embellishments to papers this gift had it all! My favourite embellishments were the cute lil shaker bunnies and the cut apart laser cut baby piece from Plaid. The Paper Pizazz Verses 2 was also a fave and I can’t wait to find some projects to use them on.

Where do I start with those papers. Of course the Graphic 45 A Ladies Diary has me swooning. There are only a few G45 stacks in my stash unfortunately. KaiserCraft is always a winner too πŸ™‚ The rose paper with the silver? How have I never seen this before? Wow! Almost forgot about the vintage papers, from the baby ones to the old photos and sketched Pooh. Love Love Love. Oh and I have always been partial to K & Company. There are a few stacks in my stash.

On a side note I have most of my 12″ paper sorted by colour. This is not working for me. My feeling is except for the paper basics like spots, checks and plainer papers I need to organise them back into brands and series and then maybe alphabetise them as it helps keep co-ordinating pieces together. Most of my newer KaiserCraft stacks are stored like this in 12″ project folders. However I have too much paper to do this with all of it… “Blush.” Honestly I feel very daunted when I have to go find something in my paper stash at the moment πŸ™ How do you store your 12″ papers? Got any Tips?

Hope you are doing some arty crafty alchemy of your own

Typo and KaiserCraft Outlet Hauls March 2018

Hello Fellow Alchemists,

First an apology, due to technical difficulties the card post I wanted to share has been pushed back a few days, sorry πŸ™ But on the upside I can finally show you what I bought at the KaiserCraft outlet and Typo. Beyond excited to have finally gotten to go to the KaiserCraft outlet. Typo was just a bonus lol.

At Typo, which is a stationary store, they had a clearance table where everything was $2 but most were broken or damaged items, some were beyond repair or missing pieces. There was an articulated wooden mannequin to use when drawing figures, he just needs his foot glued back on. The mermaid pencil case had to come home with me, so pretty. If I hadn’t dropped fortune (for me anyway) at the KaiserCraft outlet I may have gotten a couple more. I also got a couple of nerdy calendars and presents for others that I can’t share…

The KaiserCraft Outlet was where it was at though. If you watched the video you’ll see I got a tonne of bargains! There was some confusion and a little disappointment when I first walked in as I couldn’t even see the KaiserCraft products in the shop. They were hidden all the way at the back. At first I only saw full price products too. Imagine my relief when I found the bargains, woo!

A whopping two hours were spent in there :O I got bargains for myself and for my sister too. I was somewhat restrained though and put a lot of the thing’s I wanted back and went for the most useful things. Though I am kicking myself for not buying the new fairy stuff even though it’s full price.Β I may have even sat on the floor at one point to sort out the must haves for myself and my sister, hey I had just walked all around Ikea too haha.

Do you have any of the products from my haul? What’s your favourite?

Thanks for watching,

The Arty Crafty Alchemist

Spotlight and Reject Shop Hauls March 2018

Hello Fellow Alchemists,

Today I am sharing my Spotlight and Reject Shop Hauls for this month. Spotlight surprised me by having some things I actually wanted for a change but not what I was actually after. The Reject Shop, while their selection is small,Β  it is dangerous!

Spotlight has been ho hum for me for a while, prices have become very high and their paper craftΒ  range seems to have shrunk. When I was in there they had no KaiserCraft 6.5″ stacks at all and barely any other Kaiser products. On a side note some of their pricing is out of line with other KaiserCraft retailers. Ranging from a dollar or two more to five or six dollars more for a 12″x12″ paper kit. That being said I still managed to snag a couple of bargains with the Heidi Swapp products and the Zing Embossing powder.

The Reject Shop has also shrunk their art and craft sections but what they do have has been packing a mighty punch. The fanciful collection is divine, all those mermaids fairies and unicorns. Twig & Twine is quite nice with a few random pieces of paper in the paper pad that you have to wonder over like the flag signing one. I wish I had seen the Glasshouse paper pad as the die cuts are so pretty.

Having the co-ordinating packs makes crafting with the papers a lot easier as you have ready made embellishments ready to go. My current website header is a pop up box I made using the Fanciful die cuts and some of the stickers as well. I didn’t have the paper stack at the time so had to use other papers from my stash. If you would like to see more photos of the card head over to the Arty Crafty Alchemy page on Facebook.

Hope you enjoyed seeing what I bought, go create some magic!
