Jazza’s Jazzy Art Box

Hello Fellow Alchemists

Today I am sharing with you Jazza’s Jazzy Art Box. It’s taken a good while to get this puppy opened due to well, life! Yesterday ended up being the perfect opportunity when I wasn’t able to live stream on YouTube. Still not happening 😒

There are lot’s of goodies inside the box. My favourites are the pencil case and the sketchbook. Both feel like nice high quality items. I was even able to add some light watercolour to the sketchbook.

Contents of the box

I hope you enjoyed this look at Jazza’s Jazzy Art Box. It was fun to get a look at some of Jazza’s favourite art supplies, even though we all know he prefers Copics 😉. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re creating your own Arty Crafty Alchemy!

Kaisercraft Haul With Rose Ave, Fairy Garden & Pen & Ink

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Today I am sharing with you a haul from Kaisercraft. There are planners, paper packs and lots of wood flourishes. There was one thing missing from my order and Kaisercraft has since sent it out to me. I may now own two seeing as I ordered one in my next order thinking they would just refund it haha…

I bought so much stuff! 50% off sales are dangerous! I got the large and small Seafoam planners. I am really not happy with these as the glossy paper branding strip sticks to them and leaves a mess! When I contacted them nothing was done… They just said we will pass the info along. UGH. A full review will be coming soon most likely on a new planner channel so keep your eye out. The small Lucky planner I bought as it was the only one I could see being used by a man.

I also bought some extras like the sticky notes and Belle sticker book.  I often use sticky notes for extra tasks and preplanning. The wooden shapes are really cute and I could not resist getting them. They match a lot of stuff I already own.

I got three paper packs, Rose Avenue a very pretty floral stack. Fairy Garden which I have wanted for the longest time. They don’t sell the ephemera or 6″ pads online unfortunately. Lastly I got Pen & Ink but it was a toss up between that and the Curiosity stack lol. They are both really nice vintage stacks. Don’t be surprised if Curiosity appears in the future!

What was your favourite thing I bought? I adore the paper stacks, they are just so beautiful. Hope you are creating some arty crafty alchemy yourselves. See you next time.

Ebay Haul With My Assistant and Swatches of Jane Davenport, Tombow and Prismacolor

Hello fellow Alchemists,

It’s another haul video! This haul is from my favourite eBay seller from Canada. Prices have gone up since I purchased from her (I think I got lucky with the Jane Davenport Paints) but I got some super bargains. In fact I am in the process of doing a new order… The other two paint tins and some Happy Planner sticker which are super expensive over here.

Almost everything was swatched by my lovely assistant, she was defeated by the Mermaid Markers though. To be honest I do think there is a learning curve with them. The Brights watercolor set exceeded my expectations when it came to pigment load. They are so vibrant and pretty. Jane’s website does list the pigment information too. The sparkle pens are gorgeous both light and dark papers and I can’t wait to try out the face stamps and decorate my butterfly effect cover .

The Prima Art Alchemy Rose Gold was gorgeous. More research is needed on how to use the two Antique brilliance waxes as I am unsure how to use them or why my Amethyst is weird. The antiquing medium and the amethyst colour seems to have separated and everything is just brown. Although the Opal Magic is very light it is super pretty over dark surfaces to give a hint of shine.

As for the Prismacolor Premier and the Tombow Galaxy Markers the Jury is out. I wanted to try the pencils for the blending capabilities but I have no idea how to get the nice smooth blends. Due to my arthritis a lot of intensive colouring can become a problem so we will see how it goes. Unless I can get the hand letting aspect down the Tombows may be pointless. I have many other mediums that can do the same thing with colouring.

Ok I have been wordy enough for today. Hope you are creating some arty crafty alchemists yourselves. See you next time.

Hedgehog Hollow June 2018 Unboxing

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Today is the Hedgehog Hollow June 2018 Unboxing! This one is super exciting as everything was designed by Alexandra from Hedgehog Hollow. The box is themed around making projects for males. Something that can be hard to do sometimes. You can see previous unboxings here and here.

There is not one, not two but three stamp sets in the Hedgehog Hollow June 2018 box! The large Diamond Plate Background stamp as well as the Denim Pocket and Masculine Sentiments stamp sets. The Denim pocket stamp set has words for every male relative, grandfather, dad, step dad, uncle etc as well as some other sentiments as well. The masculine sentiments is chock full of assorted sentiments.

The Demin Pocket dies not only contain the die to cut the pocket out but also has three small word dies. Then we also have the large Hand Lettered (by Alexandra) Die. I love getting the word dies in the boxes as I don’t have very many big ones just a few tiny ones.

The Hedgehog Hollow June 2018 box also contained the regular 5 half sheets of Neenah Solar White and some extra pieces of coloured cardstock. There are also two pieces of patterned paper. For those with a rolling subscription we got a sneak peek at Tonics Arabian Nights collection. We received Nuvo embossing powder in Copper Blush, it’s a very nice colour.

Sorry for the lateness of the video. I was exhausted after Vivid and then something happened within my family that took precedence over getting a video out on time. I will try to be consistent but at the moment things are up in the air. Family things are definitely taking priority at this time! Thank you for your patience and understanding! Let me know below what your favourite item in the box is. I hope you are creating some arty crafty alchemy of your own. Bye for now.

Star Wars Galactic Adventure Pop Up Book and Reject Shop Haul

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Today I am sharing with you a Star Wars Galactic Adventure Pop Up Book and Reject Shop Haul. The kids and I went to Warrawong a bit over an hour from here to watch Infinity Wars and there are a lot of shops there lol.

So many bargains at the Warrawong Reject Shop. Some I didn’t even know were bargains until I looked at my receipt after I paid.  I was extremely happy to find the Flourish and Glasshouse stacks to go with the ephemera and journal cards I had already bought. Matchy matchy things make life a bit easier when creating. See the Glasshouse Stack and Glossies in this post.

The Lemonade Stand cards and Here and Now ephemera have me curious about their matching papers. Missed those though. 🙁 However, when going through my stash I found the journal cards to match the here and now ephemera. Trying to find out what things are called is hard. When I do I’ve taken to using a Sharpie to label the packets so I know what I ‘m using.

What can I say about the Star Wars Galactic Adventure Pop Up book by Matthew Reinhart? It is amazing. I have never ever seen so many pop ups stuck into one book! Mind bogglingly awesome! The grand finale was unexpected when I was looking at this in the Salvos shop. The book most definitely had to come home with me…

Hope you enjoyed my Star Wars Galactic Adventure Pop Up Book and Reject Shop Haul. I am trying to think up ideas for how to use the playing cards. They  are huge. If you have a suggestion leave a comment and let me know. Hope you are creating some arty crafty alchemy yourself. Bye for now.

Aldi Graphic Markers with Swatching and Other Hauls

Hello fellow Alchemists,

In today’s video I share with you a couple of small hauls from around my town and one sent to me from Victoria :). Luckily I have made a friend who helped me out when I was in a bind by sending me the Aldi Graphic Markers.  You can check out her shop here. Unfortunately there were some issues with the delivery company. So it took a bit longer than it should have to get to me lol.

Why do I need so may clip boards? To help shoot colouring videos hopefully as you can see in this card I made. Still learning though and am thinking I may need to turn the board sideways so the angle better. Also one is for colouring on the go as I have started taking markers and stamped images with me when I go places. The stickers are just so pretty they had to come home with me.

Apparently I need a lot of cutters because I bought the mini Stanley knife set and the rotary cutter from Aldi lol. The rotary cutter is because I have 300gsm cardstock and I waste some because in order for it to fit I my paper trimmer I have to fold each sheet in half :(. Cheap washi is always good and good for happy mail I’m told :D. The mat I didn’t need but it’s a pretty blue. Purple would be even better lol.

My awesome friend Melinda sent me the Alcohol Markers so I could road test them :). So far they actually seem pretty nice. Not many blending colours but they were $1.08au a marker. There are other ways to blend like I showed in the video. In my package there were also some packets of awesome chipboard. I already have a card idea for the super hero masks :).

Hope you are getting some arty crafty alchemy on :). Bye for now.

May Reject Shop Haul and Flip Through of their Newest Collection

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Today I am going to keep this post short and sweet and show you a new swoon worthy collection from The Reject Shop called Stillwater. If you love water coloury paper pads these are for you! On a side note this is not today’s scheduled video. My computer keeps eating it!

As you probably know by now I am addicted to The Reject Shop of late, so much prettiness for paper crafters abounds there! The Stillwater stack and ephemera pack is so close second to my favourite which was the Fanciful collection which you can see here.

We all have to get the mundane supplies as well but I am happy I found these envelopes for the competition that is coming up. I am just struggling to find an idea that won’t cost people a tonne of money! Hopefully in the near future! Hope you liked my haul, comment below what your favourite item is or what you would make with one of the items.

Hope you are creating some of your own Arty Crafty Alchemy. Thank you for stopping by.

Disney Paper Haul, Frozen, Pooh, Mickey and Minnie

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Today I am sharing with you some paper pads I was shown on eBay. The seller is so nice that they even send an extra present in your package :D. Three of the pads a gold foil and the last one has embossed designs in colour.

Aren’t they adorable! They are just too cute. They are made of some nice heavy duty paper so will make great laying pieces too. I know these stacks are readily available in Europe and the UK. Poundland in the UK are selling them! They are not easy to get here so I had to buy mine from the Netherlands.

The free stickers have several layers. Keep your eyes peeled, there may be some more arriving soon 😉 Let me know what you would make with these pads in the comments below.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you are creating some arty crafty alchemy yourselves! Bye for now.

Hedgehog Hollow March 2018 LDRS Box

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Holy wow did I have to wait a long time for my Hedgehog Hollow March 2018  box. USPS must have sent it around the world or something lol. It usually takes a week and a half to get something from the states but I had to wait twice that 🙁 Anyway it’s here now and all is good! You can see what I got in my first box here.

The Hedgehog Hollow March 2018  box contains lots of goodies from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps or LDRS for short. It is excellent value for money this month for sure. We got an awesome envelope die that is big enough to hold a gift card. I got the fairy!!! The die set is called Fairy Fantasy. I still think I want the other one too though, that’s called Love Letter.

We also got not one but two six inch paper collections. Twelve sheets of each, which is half a stack. The collections we got are Sweet Pea and Pretty Perfect. Alexandra also chose four hybrid ink cubes to match our papers. The colours are La-La-Lavender, Pink Tutu, Key Lime Pie and Raven. Best of all the LDRS hybrid inks work with both watercolouring and alcohol markers 😀 This makes me a very happy girl as I do both and it’s a pain swapping ink pads all the time lol. I just need a re-inker now as of course spots don’t last as long as full sized pads.

We also got our cute lil Minnie Winnie & Furry Fabulous stamp and die set. The dies even match all the accessories for the dog and Winnie. Because I am a regular subscriber I also got some clear embossing powder. I was hoping for white but ah well lol. Finally we got Neenah Solar white and some other card stocks as well as velum to make cards with. I can’t wait to give this stuff a go.

Is there anything you like from the box? What would you make? Thanks for joining me.

Harvey Norman Haul March 2018

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Today I am sharing with you my Harvey Norman Haul. I only went in there because my daughter was looking for something for her tablet and it was cooler in the store with the air con than in the car lol. That decision cost me oops.

As you can see I got a bunch of stickers and die cuts. They range from really small to medium/large and some even have dimension. I really like the wedding ones, the pastel colours are cute! I bought lot’s so I could share some in a future giveaway. 100 subs hint hint. Almost halfway there 🙂

Honestly, I don’t get the random moustache thing! Why is it all over everything! The baby stuff having moustaches really has me puzzled. Is that just me? Do you think random moustaches on things is crazy too? I was so hoping that fad had passed by now…

Hope you are doing some arty crafty alchemy. Thanks for stopping by.
