Today I am sharing with you a Random Act of Kindness from a lovely lady called Kylie. Her generosity totally blows me away! There are so many wonderful things in here, some that lead me to want to make a canvas with them.
My favourite though is the Whiff of Joy Puff Heart Dragon. Can’t wait to colour him! There were flourishes and butterflies and pretty Prima flowers 🙂 I am a super lucky woman! Also in the package was bling, twine, stamps and lace. Lot’s of things from Stamps of Life too.
I hope you enjoyed this look at the awesome present I received. Best of all it arrived on my birthday 😀 Thanks Kylie! Bye for now.
For the small gifts week I added all the lots of the things I made in the previous weeks as well as some extra lil bits to a cute little box the tutorial for which you can find here.
A short one this week. I hope you enjoyed the collab.
This is week two of the Amp It Up August collab with Heavenly Imaginings. It’s card week! This week I stuck with the same them from last week’s gift cards and tags.
Kaisercrafts Twig & Berry, Yuletide, December 25th and Silent Night papers were used. Some ephemera from these collections helped me pull these cards together.
I also used some glitter tags I got from Kmart on clearance one year after Christmas. Seriously casing my stash for this collab! This collab is proving to be a good way to get all my Christmas items together . 😃There was only time to make three cards this week. They will however fit well with my master plan! Especially seeing as I used black as my base colour for the cards. Ribbons from my stash and pearls from cheapy shops were used to embellish the cards.
Hope you ate enjoying the collab. Be sure to check out the other lovely ladies linked below. They are all super talented 😃 Thanks for joining me.
Welcome to the Amp It Up August blog hop hosted by Heavenly Imaginings. This week is Gift Cards and Tags and a group of us lady’s have put together some lovely projects to share. I will link everyone below.
Today I made five tags and six gift cards. I have an overall theme happening because for the last week I want to tie most things together 😊 The papers and ephemera are all from Kaisercraft and the Mini Vellum Tags are from Making Memories. The paper pads I used were Twig & Berry and December 25th. I used ephemera from the Turtle Dove, Silent Night and Twig & Berry collectibles.
Stamps used came From Studio G, Holiday clear stamps and Hampton Arts Joyous Holiday by Alison Wong. They were stamped with Versamark embossing ink and sprinkled with either Hampton Art gold or Alison Ellis Designs Golden Sparkle embossing powder. After being stamped and embossed on black cardstock they were turned into small word banners.
To all the big tags I cut with the Tom Holtz Tag Collection dies I added ribbons. I also added ribbons and stickers to all the Making Memories Vellum Tags. To finish everything off I added miscellaneous pearls and rhinestones.
Don’t forget to check out the projects of the lovely ladies below 🙂 Hope you are creating some arty crafty alchemy yourselves. Bye for now

Today I am making a Hedgehog Hollow Card Using All Four Boxes. I did not start out by planning it this way but as I was going through the boxes it organically happened. I did cut a lot of the footage of me flipping through the boxes and choosing papers to save time lol. Luckily all the flowers were already cut out so that saved me a tonne of time!
Knowing I was going to use the Hedgehog Hollow Pocket stamps and dies I planned accordingly, finding two papers that looked good together. Hunting through my as yet unsorted ink pad swatches I found a colour that closely matched the papers. At first I was concerned the Milled Lavender Distress ink was too pale. The Tim Holtz stamp platform helped me get around this by allowing me to repeatedly stamp the images on top of themselves, building up the colour.
I die cut the Sweet word die three times on white cardstock backed with Crafts 4 U wide double sided adhesive tape. Layering them up and covering them with Milled Lavender and clear Wink of Stella. The stamped and cut pocket was adhered with foam tape to raise it up.
After quickly shaping a bunch of the precut Lawn Fawn Spring Sprig flowers I adhered them with Helmar glue. After sticking the layered up sweet to the pocket I added some more flowers. Then I added more bling to a card than I ever have before!
Here are the cards I helped my little friend make.
A little crooked but not bad for a 4 year old. The next one uses chipboard from a previous haul that you can get here.
What did you think of my Hedgehog Hollow Card Using All Four Boxes? It didn’t go quite the way it was envisioned, card making is like that though… Hope you are all creating some arty crafty alchemy of your own. See you next time 🙂
Welcome to my first Easter card using The Hedgehog Hollow’sLawn Fawn February box. (It’s my second really but my first video is having issues!) We’ve got Some Bunnies and Spring Sprigs galore 🙂 Enjoy the video and my foibles along the way lol. You can see my unboxing of the first box here.
There were a few technical difficulties making this card too! First missing stamps that took hours to find. I’d been helping my son in-law with a project and they disappeared in the meantime. Then there was the panel that got stuck down when I should have waited lol. There was no run through before I shot the video so these things are bound to happen! The Easter card got there in the end though.
This was a lot of fun to make, the eggs in the sprigs instead of the flowers, they look really cute. I do wish I’d chosen a more yellow colour instead of the cream so it popped a bit more but live and learn.
The first card will hopefully be up in the next day even if I have to reshoot what is messed up. The main problem is I only had one of each of some of the products used so reshooting the whole video is not an option. So we shall see what can be done, it’s in the last third of the video so am hoping it’s nothing major.
