This month for the Scrapbookingncraft August 2021 Project we are using Flowers & Vines White Medium Leaves. I also decided to have a giveaway for my birthday! You need to watch the video… To see my last project for Melinda click here.
I used several different items from Melinda’s shop which I will link below. There were a couple of different mediums used, Inka Gold, Distress Ink, Distress Spray Stain and Dylusions. I used stamp sets from MFT and Altenew for a couple of the sentiments and the flowers.
Again you need to watch the video to see the giveaway. Melinda has generously provided a 15% off coupon to Scrapbookingncraft as well. I hope you enjoyed this months Scrapbookingncraft August 2021 Project video. Let me know your favourite card below. Hope you’re creating some arty craft alchemy yourself. Bye for now.
G’day G’day, it’s been a while lol. Lots has been going on behind the scenes! This week I am bringing you projects featuring a stencil from Melinda at Scrapbookingncraft. I even share a discount code in the video! Here is a link to a previous Halloween Collab I did with Melinda.
Melinda sent me the lovely stencil Shattered Circle to use this month so I based my project around that. My first couple of attempts didn’t quite turn out the way I hoped so I kept practicing!
with this first card I used Picked Raspberries and salty Ocean Distress inks with Nuvo Sparkle paste over the top. I used the MFT Radiating Dots stamp in the background with Spun Sugar ink.
The sentiment is chipboard also from Scrapbookingncraft covered in spun sugar oxide and wink of Stella then clear embossed three times.
There be dragons
To switch it up for the video I swapped to Squeezed Lemonade and Barn Door Distress Ink. These two didn’t quite work the way I’d hoped but they still look nice together. This time I used BoBunny glitter paste.
Both the Dragon and the Hello Friend are again chipboard from Melinda. I wished up this time and used Squeezed Lemonade and Barn Door Distress paints to colour them. To these I added three layers of clear sparkle embossing powder for that nice shiny dimensional look. The sentiment strip accross the Dragon is a Spellbinders Glimmer plate from Sentiments II.
I hope you enjoyed this look at the new stencil from Scrapbookingncraft. If you did head over to Melinda’s website with the discount code from the video and check out some of the cool items in the shop. Hope you are creating your own arty crafty alchemy. Bye for now.
Today I will be sharing with you cards made with the Kaisercraft Lady Like collection. In the video below I make around 10 cards and share another 10 or so I’d made previously in a live you can watch here.
I made some paper flowers using Kaisercrafts Flora Daisy and Flora Peony dies and I also used Congrats, Thinking of You and the Posy Circle dies as well. Other dies used on the cards include Stitched Circles from Poppy Crafts and Stitched Rectangles from Paper Roses.
As my mojo had run away so I ended up using Google and typing in card sketches though I didn’t end up using the sketches as they were just the paper shape, an angled cut here, using some scraps up there. Two sketches unlocked my brain to make 3 or 4 other cards not based on sketches to get this video done after 3 months!
I tried to use some of every item that came in the collection kit. As the curios are quite heavy I only added one to the centre of a flower and I think they may be better suited to off the page projects. I painted the wooden flourishes with gesso/primer from Aldi.
Not all the cards got photographed, 🤣 Oops! I hope you enjoyed this look at the Kaisercraft Lady Like Collection. Here is a link to cards made in a previous blog from The Reject Shop collections. Hope you’re creating your own arty crafty alchemy. Thanks for stopping by.
