The Hedgehog Hollow Box February 2018 with a Twist

Hello fellow Alchemists,

Guess what was in my mailbox when I got home today? My February 2018 box from The Hedgehog Hollow full of Lawn Fawn goodness. When I was watching Creativation videos,  I stumbled upon Alexandra’s YouTube channel and watched a few videos, then I saw a video for a huge announcement and had to see what was happening. So when the announcement was made for a box that would feature a different company every month I was intrigued and decided to sign up.  I thought it was a good way to try products from a different companies especially as most of them I wouldn’t buy because prices in Australia are super high for craft items.

Gonna put it out there, I also bought the box to force my hand when it came to making YouTube videos, it’s something I have wanted to do for years but just hadn’t pushed myself to start. Thanks for the push The Hedgehog Hollow!

My box had a couple of surprises in it that I truly wasn’t expecting and I was extremely excited to when I heard who was featured for February as I believe the only Lawn Fawn I had prior to this was the Stamp Shammy I showed in the last post. The next two boxes are Little Darling Rubber Stamps (LDRS) and Waffle Flower. I can’t wait 🙂

Oh my goodness! How many times do I have to say that lol. Seriously though I was thrown by the card and then the ink pad in the box, I wasn’t expecting either of them. My Easter cards will definitely be featuring the Some Bunny stamp set although I wish I had the dies to go with it. Same with the Year 8. At least they don’t look too difficult to fussy cut.

Alexandra from the Hollow must have been channelling me because purple is my absolutely favourite colour! I have been wanting to try the Lawn Fawn inks for a while now so am very happy my fireflies got substituted for an ink pad 🙂 I love to try out new inks, the only ink range I have all the colours in are the regular distress inks. As much as I liked the fireflies we just don’t have them in Australia so not sure they would have been used much.

Look at my pretty pretty card. As you heard I was very excited to open my box and see this. I got sent something made in a video and from America woo.  I absolutely love the card. Thanks Alexandra!

Leave a comment and let me know what you would like to see me make with these items! I am thinking purple bunnies as Lawn Fawn ink is Copic marker friendly and waterproof! Follow me on Facebook, Twitter and  Pinterest to see what I get up to

Thanks for watching
