Happy St Patrick’s Day fellow Alchemists,
Today I am sharing a St Patrick’s Day card that I was determined to get out on time. I even had to film it twice. I really don’t have a lot of items I could use for the challenge I set myself but I’m pleased with how things turned out and even added in the colourless blender ombre technique for her skirt.
Even though the stamp I found was a fairy, by removing her wings she fitted into the theme. The Flowers in her hair even looked like little clovers and her pointy ears are leprechaun like. By matching my markers to the colour of the ink pad I got a nice cohesive look. Shame I have drained my Lucky Clover Distress Ink of most of it’s colour. Need to buy a reinker as I don’t have them for the newer colours yet.
The Tim Holtz Stamp platform was amazing for making this card, I am still learning how to use it but I love it! There is no way I could have repositioned the stamps to restamp them with a stamp block perfectly that many times.
